School Nurse – 2026-2027 Academic Year

About the role

Charter Schools USA is seeking a dedicated School Nurse to join its team for the 2026-2027 academic year. The nurse will create a healthy environment, support student well‑being, and ensure compliance with state health regulations across our network of schools.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain up‑to‑date health records using the district’s technology platforms.
• Plan and conduct health screenings, examinations, and immunization verification in line with state law and CSUSA policy.
• Provide first‑aid, emergency assistance, and medication administration as required.
• Advise students, staff, and parents on health matters and make referrals to community resources.
• Serve as a health curriculum consultant and contribute to policy development.
• Communicate health information to parents, staff, and external health agencies.
• Recommend health‑ and safety‑related improvements to school leadership.

Required profile

• Ability to interact effectively with individuals at all organizational levels.
• Strong organizational skills with the capacity to prioritize multiple tasks.
• Experience preparing comprehensive health reports and documentation.
