SAP ABAP / S4 HANA Consultant – Irving, TX

About the role

Infosys is seeking an SAP ABAP / S4 HANA Consultant to join its Life Sciences unit in Irving, Texas. You will work on ERP customisations, integration and performance optimisation for healthcare and pharmaceutical clients.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in requirements gathering with business stakeholders and validate specifications against ERP capabilities.
• Assist in solution architecture design and customisation of ERP modules based on detailed business needs.
• Develop and integrate new features, conduct code reviews and maintain a stable codebase.
• Configure interfaces, execute ETL processes and ensure consistent data flow between ERP and other systems.
• Assess ERP performance, identify enhancement opportunities and ensure compliance with security and regulatory standards.
• Produce comprehensive documentation for customisations and deliver user training.

Required profile

• Strong knowledge of ERP systems and integration techniques, preferably in the life‑sciences sector.
• Ability to manage end‑to‑end ERP package customisation and implementation.
• Skill in translating complex business requirements into actionable development tasks.
• Passion for design and hands‑on coding.
• Collaborative mindset with excellent communication skills for cross‑functional teams and client stakeholders.
