Sales Director – West Region (Remote, CA)

About the role

The ROLETRIP is looking for a dynamic Sales Director to lead its West Region, covering AK, WA, OR, ID, MT, NV, CA, AZ, and HI. This remote position, based in California, will shape sales strategy, distribution, and retail execution across multiple channels.

Key responsibilities

• Assign and develop account portfolios, including independent customers and regional chains.
• Implement channel strategies for shelving, pricing, and merchandising aligned with brand goals.
• Collaborate with internal sales leadership, marketing, finance, and supply‑chain teams.
• Build, hire, and mentor a high‑performing sales‑manager team.
• Monitor performance, apply corrective actions, and drive continuous improvement.
• Utilize CRM tools and analytics to enhance distribution, optimize trade spend, and reduce out‑of‑stock situations.
• Manage P&L reporting and ensure financial adherence for accounts.
• Identify market trends to grow category position and dollar share.
• Evaluate ROI for POS solutions and oversee account‑specific programming and budgets.
• Deliver business reviews with actionable growth plans.

Required profile

• 7‑10 years of beverage sales experience across multiple trade channels.
• 5+ years of field management experience leading a sales execution team.
• Proficiency in P&L management and financial reporting.
• Advanced knowledge of syndicated data for sales strategy development.
• Proven track record in business development and market growth.
• Strong presentation skills for diverse audiences.
• Customer‑service mindset supporting internal and external partners.
