RN – Women & Infants Float Pool

About the role

The University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences is seeking a Registered Nurse to join the Women & Infants Float Pool. This position provides flexible, high‑quality nursing coverage across multiple obstetric and neonatal units, ensuring safe and compassionate care for mothers and newborns.

Key responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to women in labor, postpartum patients, and infants in the nursery.
• Respond to emergent situations and perform neonatal resuscitation as needed.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and handoffs.
• Maintain accurate documentation in the electronic health record.
• Adhere to hospital policies, infection control standards, and patient safety protocols.

Required profile

• Current RN license in Arkansas with eligibility to work in the United States.
• Experience in obstetric, postpartum, or neonatal nursing preferred.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Commitment to providing patient‑centered care.
