Retail Operations Assistant Manager – Fashion Island Boutique

About the role

Join Nespresso as an Operations Assistant Manager at the elegant Fashion Island retail boutique. You will ensure seamless daily operations, manage inventory, and uphold safety and compliance standards to enhance both employee and customer experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with the Boutique Manager to follow Retail Operations Procedures, manage cash, and oversee stock and inventory.
• Troubleshoot and manage IT systems, including support tickets and equipment functionality.
• Maintain and train staff on the coffee roaster, engraver, To‑Go and tasting bar.
• Coordinate omni‑channel services such as same‑day delivery and in‑store pickups.
• Identify and implement operational efficiencies using Total Quality Management principles.
• Conduct health, safety, and environmental audits, ensuring Food Safety and CPR certification.
• Lead and coach the back‑of‑house team, stepping in as Manager on Duty for front‑of‑house when needed.
• Support leadership with projects and tasks to drive boutique success.

Required profile

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 3+ years of retail or customer‑service experience.
• Operations or back‑of‑house experience preferred.
• Proven ability to lead and influence teams.
• Process‑oriented with strong attention to detail.
• Analytical problem‑solver capable of improving inefficiencies.
• Availability for open/closing shifts, weekends, and holidays.
• Willingness to travel up to 10% for meetings or training.
