About the role
We are seeking a passionate Restaurant Manager to lead our fine‑dining team at Smashing Grapes Kitchen and Wine Bar. You will ensure exceptional guest experiences while maintaining efficient operations in a high‑volume environment.
Key responsibilities
- Delegate tasks to shift leaders and staff to meet service objectives.
- Manage the restaurant in the General Manager’s absence.
- Implement company policies, train staff, and conduct pre‑shift meetings.
- Monitor food quality, safety, cleanliness, and product/labor costs.
- Handle guest feedback, resolve issues, and drive continuous improvement.
- Maintain and operate the Micros POS system and assist with new menu roll‑outs.
Required profile
- Minimum 3 years of management experience in a high‑volume, fine‑dining operation.
- Reliable transportation and ability to lift at least 10 lb.
- Willingness to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Ability to work in a high‑temperature kitchen and fast‑paced environment.
Required skills
- Proficiency with a touch‑sensitive POS system, specifically Micros POS.
