Resident Events Coordinator – Lifestyle Ambassador

About the role

The Lifestyle Ambassador serves as the primary point of contact for residents, delivering hospitality across all amenity spaces and driving community programming. Based in downtown Los Angeles, the role works Wednesday‑Sunday evenings to enhance resident satisfaction and retention.

Key responsibilities

• Greet residents and visitors, provide directions, and handle check‑ins courteously.
• Manage liability waivers and guest policies for first‑time visitors.
• Remain visible and accessible to promptly resolve resident inquiries.
• Coordinate on‑site events, activities, and resident participation initiatives.
• Oversee amenity space reservations, cabana towel services, and third‑party scheduling.
• Assist with food and beverage handling and ensure safe operation of equipment.
• Conduct routine walk‑throughs of indoor and outdoor areas to maintain safety and standards.
• Support cross‑departmental projects and perform additional duties as assigned.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED.
• Minimum 4 years of food and beverage experience.
• Ability to work flexible evenings and weekends (Wednesday‑Sunday, 11:30 am‑8 pm).
• Strong time‑management, decision‑making, and problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Required skills

• Experience with Toast POS (or similar point‑of‑sale systems).
• Experience with Square POS.
• Experience with Micros POS.
• Food handling certification (preferred).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
