About the role
Happy Returns is transforming the online returns experience for shoppers and retailers. As a Remote DevOps Engineer you will help build and operate secure, scalable AWS infrastructure that powers our reverse‑logistics platform.
Key responsibilities
- Design, deploy and maintain cloud infrastructure on AWS using Infrastructure‑as‑Code tools such as Terraform and Pulumi.
- Collaborate with software engineering teams to define infrastructure, build, release and deployment tooling.
- Work with information security to integrate security and compliance requirements.
- Troubleshoot issues across a wide range of services and ensure high availability.
- Develop and maintain operational tools for deployment, monitoring, and analysis of AWS systems.
- Provide architectural recommendations and drive process improvements.
Required profile
- At least 1 year of experience designing, provisioning, and maintaining infrastructure with IaC.
- Experience coding in at least one high‑level programming language.
- Interest in e‑commerce, logistics, or sustainability.
- Comfort using AI‑powered development tools to accelerate work.
