Remote DevOps Engineer – Cloud Infrastructure & Automation

About the role

Happy Returns is transforming the online returns experience for shoppers and retailers. As a Remote DevOps Engineer you will help build and operate secure, scalable AWS infrastructure that powers our reverse‑logistics platform.

Key responsibilities

• Design, deploy and maintain cloud infrastructure on AWS using Infrastructure‑as‑Code tools such as Terraform and Pulumi.
• Collaborate with software engineering teams to define infrastructure, build, release and deployment tooling.
• Work with information security to integrate security and compliance requirements.
• Troubleshoot issues across a wide range of services and ensure high availability.
• Develop and maintain operational tools for deployment, monitoring, and analysis of AWS systems.
• Provide architectural recommendations and drive process improvements.

Required profile

• At least 1 year of experience designing, provisioning, and maintaining infrastructure with IaC.
• Experience coding in at least one high‑level programming language.
• Interest in e‑commerce, logistics, or sustainability.
• Comfort using AI‑powered development tools to accelerate work.
