Registered Nurse – Emergency Department (Full‑Time, 7 PM‑7:30 AM)

About the role

Baptist Health is seeking a full‑time Registered Nurse to join its Emergency Department night team. The position works the 7 PM to 7:30 AM shift and includes a $25,000 sign‑on bonus for qualified candidates.

Key responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive patient assessments and deliver evidence‑based emergency care.
• Administer life‑saving interventions, medications, and treatments according to protocols.
• Collaborate with physicians, technicians, and support staff to ensure coordinated patient care.
• Document all nursing actions accurately in the electronic health record.
• Educate patients and families about treatment plans and follow‑up care.

Required profile

• Active Registered Nurse license.
• Associate degree in Nursing (BSN preferred) with BSN completion required within three years for associate‑degree hires.
• Must complete a preceptor class within twelve months of competency approval.
• Relevant experience in emergency or acute care settings is preferred.

Required skills

• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification.
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification.
• Oncology Nursing Society (ONS/ONCC) Chemotherapy/Immunotherapy certification.
