Regional Property Manager – San Jose & San Francisco

About the role

Greystar is seeking a Regional Property Manager to oversee its portfolio of multifamily assets in the San Jose and San Francisco markets. The role focuses on driving operational excellence, financial performance, and tenant satisfaction across multiple communities.

Key responsibilities

• Inspect properties and review financial, market, and operational reports to ensure performance targets are met.
• Collaborate with Community Managers to implement action plans that improve operational and financial results.
• Lead local and national initiatives, championing change and ensuring protocol adoption across all properties.
• Manage budgets, prepare regular performance reports, and present findings to ownership and senior leadership.
• Foster positive tenant relationships, address concerns promptly, and implement retention programs to reduce turnover.
• Work with leasing teams to develop marketing strategies, achieve optimal occupancy, and minimize vacancy rates.
• Oversee maintenance programs to ensure properties remain well‑maintained and compliant with regulations.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing a portfolio of multifamily properties in a regional capacity.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial and market data.
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities to guide property teams and interact with owners.
• Demonstrated ability to develop and execute operational initiatives that drive results.
