Radar Data Analyst

About the role

deciBel Research is seeking an experienced Radar Data Analyst to join its collaborative analysis team in Huntsville, AL. The analyst will support the evaluation of ground‑test and flight‑test sensor data for the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) and contribute to the Missile Defense System (MDS) command, control, battle management and communications (C2BMC) effort.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct studies on electronic warfare, counter‑measures, and real‑world event analysis.
• Analyze sensor data from MDS radars such as AN/TPY‑2, CDU, UEWR, SBX and LRDR.
• Provide data products that feed into MDS C2BMC to form tracks and enable system‑level discrimination.
• Communicate technical findings to both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support MDA ground‑test and flight‑test concepts of operations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in engineering, science or mathematics.
• 5+ years of radar data analysis experience.
• Active Secret security clearance and U.S. citizenship.
• Ability to work effectively in a team‑oriented environment.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Matlab or C++.
• Proficiency with Linux operating systems.
• Experience with MDS radar systems (AN/TPY‑2, CDU, UEWR, SBX, LRDR).
• Ability to interpret and analyze complex sensor data.
