Quality Specialist – Certifications & Retail Testing

About the role

The Quality Specialist – Certifications & Retail Testing ensures product and brand compliance by leading third‑party certification and retailer testing programs. The role drives compliance readiness across products, sites and projects through certification oversight, testing coordination, documentation management and risk identification.

Key responsibilities

• Support certification compliance initiatives across brands, products, manufacturing/packaging sites and business transitions, reviewing labels, formulations and documentation against certification requirements.
• Manage retailer testing activities, including requirement review, SKU tracking, sample coordination, submission of product documentation and follow‑up of test results.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Chemistry, Nutrition, Engineering or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• 3+ years experience in specification management, quality, regulatory affairs or related functions within a regulated industry.
• Working knowledge of GMPs, HACCP, food safety regulations and certification schemes such as Non‑GMO, Gluten‑Free, Kosher, Organic, NSF.

Required skills

• Proficiency with SAP and product lifecycle management (PLM) systems.
• Experience using Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, Visio) and document management platforms.
