Senior Specialist – Technical Applications (TAG)

About the role

As a Senior Specialist in the Technical Applications Group (TAG) at Nestlé Health Science, you will lead medium‑ to high‑complexity innovation, renovation and optimization projects. You will act as the product and process lead, ensuring technical solutions meet quality, safety and regulatory standards while supporting manufacturing operations.

Key responsibilities

• Lead product, process and formulation development for innovation, renovation and productivity projects.
• Provide technical expertise for formulation improvements, process optimization, troubleshooting and cost‑saving initiatives.
• Manage scale‑up, validation and technology transfer to internal sites and external partners.
• Conduct technical trials, risk assessments and qualification activities to ensure successful commercialization.
• Collaborate with Quality, Regulatory, Marketing, Procurement, Supply Chain, Manufacturing and R&D teams.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Pharmaceutical Science, Food Science or related field.
• 3+ years of hands‑on product development and manufacturing experience with tablets, capsules, liquids, soft gels, gummies or powders.
• Proven experience leading medium‑complexity technical projects and working in cross‑functional teams.
• Previous manufacturing or factory experience, including scale‑up, validation and technology transfer.
• Ability to travel up to 30% and work onsite in Bridgewater, NJ.
