Aircraft Mechanical Engineer

About the role

AVTECH Global seeks an Aircraft Mechanical Engineer to design, develop, and improve mechanical systems and components for various aircraft models. The role supports product development from concept through production while ensuring compliance with FAA regulations and customer specifications.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare engineering data according to customer specifications and the Structural Inspection and Repair Manual (SIRM).
• Design structural modifications and repairs for aircraft such as Beechcraft King Air, DHC-8, Gulfstream, and 737.
• Perform analyses from conceptual design through detailed design of aircraft structures and systems.
• Coordinate with engineers, managers, DERs, and clients to ensure timely project completion.
• Review production, malfunction, and maintenance reports to identify and resolve issues.

Required profile

• MS Engineering or BSME/BSAE/BS Eng with 5‑7 years of aviation design experience.
• Knowledge of FAA guidelines (Part 91, 135, 145) and ability to obtain a DOD Secret Security Clearance.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills, with ability to follow guidance from senior engineers.
• Willingness to travel up to 10% and proper work authorization for the US.
