Quality & Compliance Manager – Manufacturing

About the role

We are looking for a hands‑on Quality & Compliance Manager to lead quality, compliance, supplier performance and continuous improvement across our manufacturing operations and international supply base. The role combines floor‑level presence with strategic oversight of quality systems, audits and corrective actions.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain a visible daily presence on the manufacturing floor and in the warehouse.
• Lead investigations of quality issues, customer complaints and production defects, driving root‑cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Reduce scrap, rework and customer returns while supporting new product launches and process validation.
• Manage calibration and quality documentation systems.
• Oversee domestic and international supplier quality, conduct audits and factory assessments, and lead supplier corrective‑action programs.
• Monitor supplier scorecards, work with sourcing teams to improve consistency, and ensure compliance with retailer requirements.
• Prepare and follow up on QAFA audits, coordinate SMETA audits and corrective‑action plans, and support customer and third‑party inspections.
• Drive continuous‑improvement projects, analyze quality trends, implement Lean Manufacturing initiatives and develop KPI reporting and quality dashboards.
• Train employees and supervisors on quality standards and procedures.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality or a related discipline (preferred).
• Minimum 7 years of manufacturing quality experience.
• Proven experience managing quality programs in a manufacturing environment.
• Direct experience with QAFA and SMETA audits.
• Strong root‑cause analysis and problem‑solving skills.
• Experience managing overseas supplier quality programs and retailer compliance requirements.
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies.
