Production Coordinator – Supply Chain & Launch Operations

About the role

Tarte Cosmetics is looking for a proactive Production Coordinator to support product launch and replenishment operations. This early‑career position offers hands‑on experience in production planning, inventory reconciliation and supply‑chain coordination within a fast‑paced environment.

Key responsibilities

• Review and reconcile monthly supplier inventory reports to maintain accurate production and shipment data.
• Support coordination of annual physical inventory with suppliers.
• Create, post, and close out shipments and production orders.
• Track production schedules to ensure timely manufacturing and delivery of finished goods.
• Create, issue, and maintain purchase orders for launch and replenishment items.
• Communicate with suppliers to confirm production details, resolve delays, and escalate issues.
• Partner with internal teams (planning, logistics, product development) to execute launches and replenishments.
• Utilize the ERP system for transaction management, receipts, and reporting.
• Assist in evaluating supplier performance and driving continuous improvement.
• Support logistics coordination to meet timelines cost‑effectively.
• Maintain organized production records, samples, and documentation for compliance.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 1‑2 years of experience in production, supply chain or operations.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Positive attitude, flexibility and proactive problem‑solving.
• Willingness to travel up to 10 % as required.

Required skills

• Microsoft Excel (including PivotTables and VLOOKUP).
• Experience using ERP systems.
