Assembly Team Lead – 3pm Shift

About the role

We are looking for a hands‑on Assembly Team Lead to oversee the 3 pm shift on our production line at FHP Manufacturing, a joint venture of Bosch Group and Carrier Corporation. Reporting to the Area Supervisor, you will guide a team of associates, ensure product quality, and drive efficiency using lean manufacturing principles.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate daily assembly line activities in partnership with the Area Supervisor.
• Train and mentor new hires and support cross‑training initiatives.
• Apply Business Process Standards (BPS) to continuously improve processes.
• Ensure on‑time delivery of components and finished units to meet production schedules.
• Interpret work instructions, product drawings, and special handling sheets.
• Use manual and power tools, as well as measuring devices, to assemble heat‑pump units and perform functional tests.
• Inspect finished products, identify defects, and manage non‑conforming materials.
• Rework units when necessary to meet quality standards.
• Promote a safe, organized work environment and follow material‑handling best practices.

Required profile

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Manufacturing experience in assembly; CNC machine operation is a plus.
• Ability to supervise and coordinate 10‑15 team members.
• Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willingness to work overtime and assist in other departments as needed.
• Strong adherence to safety and quality procedures.

Required skills

• Use of measuring devices.
• Basic CNC machine operation (preferred).
