Mechanical Design Engineering Internship

About the role

Join Bosch's engineering team in Fort Lauderdale as a Mechanical Design Engineering Intern. You will support the creation and sustainability of mechanical components and systems while gaining hands‑on experience in a professional environment.

Key responsibilities

• Create and modify CAD models and technical drawings using industry‑standard software.
• Analyze and optimize mechanical components and assemblies.
• Research design alternatives and manufacturing processes to inform engineering decisions.
• Participate in design reviews, incorporate feedback, and develop Bill of Materials.
• Prepare technical documentation, including specifications and assembly instructions.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to troubleshoot design challenges.
• Support prototyping, testing, and evaluation activities.
• Maintain organized project files and communicate progress to senior staff.
• Assist in designing fixtures and production layouts based on DFM/DFA principles.
