About the role

The Procurement Specialist is responsible for managing procurement activities, ensuring the timely availability of materials, and optimizing vendor relationships to support production efficiency and cost savings. The role combines day‑to‑day purchasing with the development of analytics‑driven tools and dashboards to improve visibility and decision‑making.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute procurement strategies that meet organizational needs and budget constraints.
• Process purchase orders and optimize inventory levels to avoid overstocking or shortages.
• Monitor stock usage patterns and proactively anticipate future procurement needs.
• Collaborate with logistics and warehousing teams to ensure smooth receipt, storage, and distribution of materials.
• Identify cost‑reduction opportunities and track expenditures against budgets.
• Conduct cost‑benefit analyses for purchases and long‑term contracts.
• Support supplier performance, resolve disputes, and ensure contractual obligations are met.
• Co‑lead supplier relationship management, measure performance, and drive value creation.
• Conduct market research to identify reliable suppliers and maintain a robust supplier base.
• Utilize procurement software, ERP systems, and AI‑enabled tools to manage activities and maintain accurate records.

Required profile
