Procurement Site Head – Manufacturing Site

About the role

Alcon is seeking a Procurement Site Head to lead all site‑level procurement and strategic sourcing activities for its Fort Worth, TX facility. You will be the primary procurement interface, partnering with Operations, Finance, Quality and Global Procurement to ensure cost competitiveness, supply continuity and strong supplier performance.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the chief procurement leader for the site, aligning with site leadership and operational priorities.
• Develop and execute category and site‑level sourcing strategies for Chemicals, API, Packaging and Resin.
• Identify and deliver productivity, cost‑reduction and value‑creation initiatives across direct and indirect spend.
• Lead business case development, scenario analysis and total cost of ownership evaluations.
• Own site‑level procurement budgeting, spend tracking and variance analysis in partnership with Finance.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, SOX requirements and ethical sourcing standards.
• Drive continuous improvement in procurement processes, governance and controls.
• Build, lead and develop a high‑performing local procurement team.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience (high school + 15 yrs, Associate + 11 yrs, M.S. + 4 yrs, PhD + 3 yrs).
• Fluent English communication skills.
• Minimum 7 years relevant procurement experience.
• At least 5 years demonstrated leadership experience.
• Proven expertise in strategic sourcing, negotiation and contract management for Chemicals, API, Packaging and Resin categories.
