Private Duty LVN – Night Shifts

About the role

Aveanna is seeking Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurses (LVN/LPN) to provide high‑quality private duty care during night shifts. You will work in patients’ homes, delivering compassionate, clinical care while documenting electronically via a tablet.

Key responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to children and adults in a home‑care setting during night hours.
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes using electronic tablets.
• Collaborate with local operators and clinicians to ensure continuity of care.
• Maintain patient safety, follow care plans, and respond to emergencies as needed.
• Adhere to company policies, state licensing requirements, and infection‑control protocols.

Required profile

• Active, unencumbered LPN/LVN license in the state of practice (or transferable within 90 days).
• Current CPR certification with hands‑on component (company can assist).
• TB skin test within the last 12 months.
• Reliable transportation to travel between patient homes.
• Willingness to work night shifts and flexible scheduling (full‑time, part‑time, or PRN).
