Laundry Aide – Housekeeping & Laundry Support

About the role

AVIR Health Group is looking for a dedicated Laundry Aide/Housekeeper to join our resident‑centered team. You will help maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment for our residents, supporting their independence and comfort.

Key responsibilities

• Perform daily housekeeping duties, including cleaning, sanitizing, and organizing resident rooms and common areas.
• Collect, wash, dry, fold, and distribute linens, clothing, and other laundry items in compliance with health regulations.
• Ensure all areas meet federal, state, and local safety and sanitation standards.
• Assist residents with basic laundry needs when required.
• Report any maintenance or safety issues to supervisory staff promptly.

Required profile

• High School Diploma or GED (degree preferred when applicable).
• Previous experience in a nursing home, healthcare, or long‑term care setting is preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced, resident‑focused environment.
• Commitment to following all regulatory and company policies.
