Laboratory Assistant – GMP Cleaning & Support

About the role

This position assists laboratory personnel and supports quality control, sterility control, and safety initiatives by maintaining a clean and sanitary environment in compliance with GMP standards and company SOPs.

Key responsibilities

• Perform routine and specialized cleaning tasks in GMP areas, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, waste disposal, recycling, dusting, and disinfecting surfaces, equipment and rooms.
• Wash, dry, and sterilize glassware, operate autoclave, and keep the glass‑washing area organized.
• Accurately record all cleaning activities and maintain audit trails in accordance with SOPs.
• Operate and maintain laboratory support equipment, perform routine maintenance, and report any equipment deficiencies.
• Monitor inventory of cleaning supplies and laboratory reagents, replenish as needed, and stock assigned areas.

• Works independently and proactively, promotes process improvement.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks under deadline pressure and adapt quickly to change.
• Strong organizational and time‑management skills; follows timelines and escalates issues promptly.
• Effective communication with supervisors, quality team, and other laboratory personnel.

What we offer

• Base hourly compensation ranging from $19.00 to $20.00.
• Initial training shift 9 AM – 5 PM, with potential evening hours after training.
