Portfolio Strategy Manager - Plant Nutrition

About the role

The Portfolio Strategy Manager will lead a category of Elemental Enzymes’ strategy, focusing on planning and execution of key activities. This role involves collaboration with various internal and external stakeholders to tailor marketing strategies and portfolio composition, ensuring effective execution of a portfolio and related go‑to‑market strategies.

Key responsibilities

• Own product portfolio prioritization and valuation aligned with company strategy and ROI expectations.
• Assess new product and market opportunities based on size, growth potential, customer needs and competitive landscape.
• Lead market intelligence to identify trends, customer needs and growth opportunities.
• Conduct product valuations and business case analyses to support investment decisions.
• Develop multi‑year portfolio strategies, including lifecycle management and market expansion.
• Define and influence go‑to‑market strategies and product positioning with cross‑functional teams.
• Coordinate competitive and technical assessments of internal and external products.
• Lead portfolio presentations and strategic recommendations internally and externally.
• Serve as subject‑matter expert on assigned markets, applications, competitors and agronomic practices.
• Lead and coordinate product launch efforts across Marketing, Commercial, Regulatory and other teams.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in a business‑related or science‑related discipline.
• 10+ years of experience in B2B sales, marketing, product development or customer experience in agricultural inputs.
• Experience in project management.
• Extensive interpersonal and cross‑functional collaboration skills.
• Ability to travel overnight up to 10%.
