Patient Services Associate - Main PACU

About the role

The Patient Services Associate works in the Main Post‑Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences. This position provides direct support to patients recovering from surgery during the evening shift, ensuring a safe and comfortable environment.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor patients' vital signs and recovery status in the PACU.
• Assist nursing staff with patient positioning, transport, and documentation.
• Provide patient education on post‑operative care and answer questions.
