Patient Care Assistant / Receptionist – Full-Time Family Medicine

About the role

Revere Health is seeking a reliable, professional, team‑oriented individual to join its Heber City clinic as a full‑time Patient Care Assistant and Receptionist. The role blends direct patient care with front‑desk duties, supporting a positive patient experience in a family‑medicine setting.

Key responsibilities

• Provide courteous, friendly, and professional service to patients and coworkers.
• Rotate between Patient Care Assistant and Front Desk Receptionist duties as assigned.
• Room patients, obtain vital signs, and prepare them for medical examinations.
• Clean and sterilize rooms, equipment, and supplies before the start of the day and between patients.
• Register patients, verify and update demographics, insurance information, and appointment details.
• Schedule and confirm appointments accurately.
• Collect co‑payments, process payments, and reconcile daily cash reports.
• Answer telephone calls promptly, transfer calls tactfully, and provide accurate information.
• Document orders, referrals, and laboratory tests in designated systems.
• Document follow‑up activities related to health maintenance and quality‑of‑care measures.
• Take and appropriately route patient messages and tasks.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years experience as a Patient Care Assistant or Medical Assistant.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 2 years experience in a customer‑service related field.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and oral.
• Flexibility to work varied schedules, Monday‑Friday, 8 am‑5 pm.
