Part-Time Patient Care / Medical Assistant – Family Medicine

About the role

Revere Health is seeking an energetic, compassionate, and dependable Part‑Time Patient Care/Medical Assistant to join its Family Medicine team in Heber City. You will work directly with providers to ensure a positive experience for patients while maintaining a professional office environment.

Key responsibilities

• Interview patients, record medical history, verify visit purpose, and reconcile medication lists.
• Prepare patients for examinations, perform preliminary physical tests, and assist with office procedures and injections.
• Maintain accurate and confidential medical records, including diagnostic and procedure coding.
• Triaging phone messages, communicating test results, and scheduling referrals, follow‑ups, and prescriptions.
• Interact with insurance companies and pharmacies for prior authorizations.
• Keep exam rooms clean, stocked, and equipment operational; perform preventive maintenance.
• Adhere to clinic policies, federal, state, and local regulations, and maintain CPR certification.

Required profile

• Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program with certification.
• CPR certification (or obtain within four months of hire).
• Working knowledge of medical terminology.
• Ability to lift, bend, reach, and carry up to 10 lb regularly.
