Part Time Teller – Customer Service & Cash Handling

About the role

Santander is seeking a friendly, detail‑oriented Part Time Teller to join its Lincoln, RI branch. In this role you will be the first point of contact for customers, handling everyday banking transactions while delivering exceptional service.

Key responsibilities

• Greet customers, minimize wait times and assist with deposits, withdrawals, transfers and other banking needs.
• Handle cash accurately, maintain cash‑drawer balances and follow all compliance and risk‑management procedures.
• Identify and refer opportunities to cross‑sell bank products, and educate customers on digital self‑service tools.
• Escalate complex issues or potential fraud to appropriate channels for timely resolution.
• Support branch operations such as custodial duties, audits and occasional assistance to nearby locations.
• Keep the work area clean, organized and welcoming.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED.
• Minimum 6 months cash‑handling experience.
• Minimum 6 months customer‑service experience.
• Strong communication, listening and problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to work flexible branch hours, including evenings and weekends.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in all transactions.
