Part-time Recruiter – Dekalb RYDC, Decatur, GA

About the role

The Department of Juvenile Justice seeks a part‑time Recruiter to support staffing for its facilities in Dekalb County. You will work with managers in Augusta and Washington, GA, coordinate job fairs and fill hard‑to‑fill positions.

Key responsibilities

• Identify recruiting needs by consulting with facility managers and HR staff.
• Develop and execute recruitment plans, including outreach to community services, colleges, and military installations.
• Post job announcements, screen applicants, and manage the applicant tracker (Team GA Careers).
• Coordinate and attend job fairs and other outreach events.
• Provide HR policy guidance to hiring managers and maintain up‑to‑date recruitment knowledge.

Required profile

• Associate degree from an accredited institution.
• Minimum two years of experience in human resources or recruiting.
• Strong communication and relationship‑building abilities.

Required skills

• Taleo or comparable Applicant Tracking System.
• Team GA Careers recruitment portal.
