Part-Time Maintenance Technician – American Cancer Society (Lubbock)

About the role

Corpcare Services Inc. is looking for a dependable, safety‑mindful Maintenance Technician to support American Cancer Society facilities in Lubbock, Texas. The role involves routine upkeep, minor repairs, and ensuring a clean, safe environment for staff, patients, and visitors.

Key responsibilities

• Perform general building maintenance and minor repairs such as plumbing, electrical, flooring, fixtures, and painting.
• Conduct facility inspections, replace light bulbs and air filters, and monitor issues that require escalation.
• Assist with equipment setup or breakdown for events and maintain a neat, organized work area while complying with safety standards.
• Communicate maintenance concerns effectively with supervisors and other staff.

Required profile

• Previous maintenance or handyman experience, preferably in commercial facilities.
• Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, painting, and light HVAC repair.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lb, reliable transportation, and a valid driver’s license.
• Non‑smoker, reliable, professional, and detail‑oriented.
