Part-Time Leasing Professional – Ascend on Potranco

About the role

The Leasing Professional will support Ascend on Potranco by managing all leasing activities, from prospect outreach to move‑in, ensuring high occupancy and resident satisfaction. This part‑time role focuses on delivering a seamless leasing experience while promoting community retention.

Key responsibilities

• Greet and qualify prospects, conduct tours, and show apartments.
• Process applications, perform credit and criminal background checks, and prepare lease and move‑in packages.
• Inspect apartments before move‑in, coordinate any necessary maintenance, and ensure units are ready.
• Monitor market and competitor trends, develop short‑ and long‑term marketing plans, and manage concessions and specials.
• Execute marketing initiatives, including resident referral programs, employer outreach, and online advertising on platforms such as Craigslist and Facebook.
• Utilize property management software (OneSite, Yardi, etc.) to track availability, record traffic, manage prospect data, and capture demographic information.
• Maintain show‑unit quality standards and support community branding efforts.

Required profile

• Strong customer‑service orientation with the ability to engage and qualify prospective residents.
• Detail‑oriented approach to apartment inspections and move‑in preparation.
• Awareness of local rental market conditions and competitor activity.
• Ability to develop and implement marketing strategies that drive traffic and occupancy.
