Operations Supervisor – Warehouse & Logistics

About the role

We are seeking an Operations Supervisor to lead our warehouse and distribution team in Savannah, GA. The role oversees ordering, receiving, storing, inventorying, issuing and shipping of materials, ensuring a smooth flow of goods and high inventory accuracy.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain accurate inventory records through cycle counts, physical audits and catch‑weight adjustments.
• Assist Inventory Control to sustain inventory accuracy and manage supply areas.
• Review inbound appointment logs and open order reports daily to plan work activities.
• Schedule inbound and outbound shipments to meet customer metrics.
• Determine staffing needs based on workload, assign duties, and manage the department payroll.
• Update and communicate operational procedures to warehouse associates.
• Track productivity and performance by individual, function and department.
• Ensure safety procedures are followed and resolve worker grievances.

Required profile

• Proven experience supervising warehouse or distribution operations.
• Strong understanding of inventory control processes and ability to maintain inventory accuracy.
• Capability to plan staffing, assign tasks and manage payroll.
• Knowledge of safety standards and ability to enforce them.
