About the role
The International Rescue Committee is seeking an Operations Specialist to be the primary point of contact at its Denver office. This in‑person role ensures a welcoming environment for clients and guests while supporting a range of office operations, safety, security, and IT functions.
Key responsibilities
- Manage front‑desk activities: greet visitors, answer phones, and maintain a clean, secure reception area.
- Train and coordinate operations volunteers to cover front‑desk and administrative tasks.
- Support day‑to‑day safety and security needs, including incident coordination and briefing new staff.
- Assist with IT infrastructure management, hardware/software tracking, troubleshooting, and liaison with service providers.
- Contribute to supply‑chain and other operational support as needed.
Required profile
- Strong organizational and communication abilities.
- Creative problem‑solving and personal initiative.
- Comfort working in a multicultural, fast‑paced environment.
- Ability to handle front‑desk duties and interact professionally with diverse stakeholders.
