Occupational Therapist / OTA – CW – Little Rock

About the role

The University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences is seeking a contracted Occupational Therapist or Occupational Therapy Assistant (CW) to join the interdisciplinary team at the Kids First clinic in Little Rock. The role focuses on delivering evidence‑based therapy to children from birth to five years old who present with motor delays or disorders.

Key responsibilities

• Provide individualized occupational therapy interventions using best‑practice, evidence‑based techniques.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, speech‑language pathologists, and other specialists to develop comprehensive care plans.
• Document assessments, treatment progress, and outcomes in the patient record.
• Educate families on home‑based strategies to support child development.
• Maintain compliance with institutional policies, including vaccination requirements and legal work authorization.

Required profile

• Current Arkansas license to practice as an Occupational Therapist or Occupational Therapy Assistant.
• Commitment to work in a pediatric setting serving birth‑to‑5 populations.
• Ability to work on‑site at the UAMS Kids First clinic.
• Proof of legal authority to work in the United States on the first day of employment.
