Mobile Software Engineer (Android)

About the role

As a Mobile Software Engineer you will build and maintain the core OKX mobile application used by millions of daily active users. You will collaborate with design, product and engineering teams to deliver high‑quality features for crypto trading, asset management and wallet functionality.

Key responsibilities

• Develop new features for the all‑in‑one iOS and Android apps as part of a global mobile team.
• Optimize performance and ensure a seamless experience for a large user base.
• Stay informed on industry trends and evaluate new technologies to meet fast‑growing business needs.
• Translate design concepts into scalable, production‑ready code.
• Work with distributed development teams to deliver localized solutions while maintaining architectural consistency.
• Maintain high‑quality technical documentation and improve cross‑office collaboration.

Required profile

• Experience with native iOS/Android development or cross‑platform frameworks such as ReactNative, Flutter or Lua.
• Proficiency in at least one language: Java, Objective‑C, Swift, Kotlin or JavaScript.
• Solid understanding of common data structures and algorithms.
• Familiarity with agile practices including TDD, CI and Scrum.
• Passion for mobile technology and building applications for a large audience.
