Mobile Engineer

About the role

We are a fast‑growing AI startup in New York looking for a Mobile Engineer to own the entire iOS product surface. You will work closely with the Lead Software Engineer, ship features to production and shape the mobile roadmap for enterprise customers.

Key responsibilities

• Own production iOS apps end‑to‑end, from Figma designs to App Store release.
• Build for performance‑critical environments, optimizing battery life and handling unreliable connectivity.
• Manage mobile CI/CD pipelines, including code signing, provisioning, TestFlight, and releases.
• Maintain code‑base health through testing standards, code reviews and release engineering.
• Participate in customer sessions and translate feedback into shipped features.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to the growth of the mobile engineering team.

Required profile

• 2–5 years of experience shipping production mobile apps with App Store releases.
• Strong expertise in Swift and SwiftUI, including UIKit, Combine, async/await and solid architecture (MVVM, Coordinator, Redux‑style state).
• Experience with offline‑first data sync, REST/GraphQL APIs, crash triage and hot‑fixes.
• Ability to turn Figma designs into finished features alongside designers.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP or Azure) and observability tools such as Datadog, Sentry or Firebase.
• Interest in building AI‑powered mobile experiences (agents, voice, vision, on‑device inference).
