Member of Technical Staff, Product Engineering

About the role

sf-tensor is building the fastest GPU compiler and a unified Model Foundry platform that lets researchers launch experiments with a single commit or Slack message. As a Member of Technical Staff in Product Engineering you will own the end‑to‑end experience of Model Foundry, ensuring it is fast, reliable, and delightful for users who run thousands of GPU jobs across multiple cloud providers.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and iterate on core product areas of Model Foundry, from web interfaces to backend services.
• Build polished, high‑performance web UI using NextJS that feels native.
• Create dashboards, live log streaming, experiment comparison, and resource‑view components for researchers.
• Implement conversational and commit‑driven entry points that trigger training runs from Slack or Git commits.
• Collaborate closely with forward‑deployed researchers, handling feedback loops measured in minutes.
• Make product trade‑offs, deciding when to ship quickly and when to polish further.

Required profile

• Proven experience shipping complete products, with examples you can demonstrate.
• Strong eye for design and motion, noticing subtle UI inconsistencies.
• Solid backend skills, able to build APIs and troubleshoot production issues.
• Comfort with AWS, containers, and Kubernetes (no need to be a DevOps wizard).

What we offer

• Base salary $225,000‑$275,000 per year plus meaningful equity.
