Member of Technical Staff, Foundation Models

About the role

Ataraxis AI is seeking a Member of Technical Staff to advance its foundation model research for clinical applications. You will work at the intersection of multi‑modal AI and precision medicine, turning cutting‑edge research into tools that predict patient outcomes and guide treatment decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement novel self‑supervised learning methods for training large foundation models.
• Translate state‑of‑the‑art machine‑learning papers into production‑ready code.
• Build robust evaluation frameworks to assess model performance.
• Co‑author research papers and abstracts to disseminate findings.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of engineers and scientists.
• Mentor junior team members.

Required profile

• PhD in machine learning, statistics, or a related field.
• Strong research track record, preferably with publications in top conferences (ICML, ICLR, NeurIPS, CVPR).
• Attention to detail and ability to drive tasks to completion.
