Medical Reception Professional – Front Desk (OB GYN)

About the role

Join a high‑volume women’s and children’s health practice as the first point of contact for patients. You will create a welcoming environment, manage appointments, and support the clinical team in Celebration, Davenport, Winter Garden, and St. Cloud, FL.

Key responsibilities

• Greet patients and visitors warmly, ensuring a professional first impression.
• Schedule appointments, manage multiple providers’ calendars, and handle patient check‑in/out.
• Verify insurance, collect co‑pays, deductibles, and balances.
• Answer incoming calls, route messages, and perform general administrative tasks (scanning, faxing, data entry).
• Assist with insurance eligibility, benefits verification, and patient inquiries.
• Maintain HIPAA compliance when handling personal medical information.
• Support the office with additional duties as needed to keep operations running smoothly.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 1 year experience in an Obstetrics & Gynecology setting.
• At least 1 year customer‑service experience.
• Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish.
• Team‑oriented attitude with strong attention to detail.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Athena EMR (preferred).
