Massage Therapist

About the role

The Elmhurst Park District is seeking a part‑time Massage Therapist to join the Courts Plus team. You will deliver therapeutic and relaxation massages to members and guests in accordance with American Massage Therapy Association (AMTA) guidelines.

Key responsibilities

• Provide individualized bodywork treatments that meet client needs and expectations.
• Maintain accurate client history records and document sessions using SOAP notation.
• Assist with equipment purchase recommendations and upkeep.
• Participate in facility special events and promote services.
• Uphold sanitation and sterilization standards as required by law and district policies.
• Ensure a welcoming environment, manage appointment scheduling, and communicate with the service desk.

Required profile

• Graduate of an AMTA‑certified school with at least 500 classroom hours.
• Licensed to perform massage in the State of Illinois.
• 1–3 years of massage experience, preferably in a health‑club setting.
