Athletic Trainer/DME Field Service Representative

About the role

Enovis is seeking a dedicated Athletic Trainer/DME Field Service Representative to support orthopedic patients in the Grand Rapids area. The role combines direct patient care with education on durable medical equipment and functional bracing, ensuring optimal outcomes for healthcare providers and patients.

Key responsibilities

• Provide application, education, and proper use of orthopedic soft goods, functional bracing, bone growth stimulators, and other Enovis products prescribed by healthcare professionals.
• Deliver routine customer service to patients, physicians, physician assistants, and clinical staff.
• Manage inventory, conduct audits, and verify patient benefits using automation tools, including pre‑authorization and upfront collection.
• Act as liaison between customers, Enovis, and the sales team while adhering to compliance, ethics, and HIPAA regulations.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of direct patient care experience in an orthopedic, physical therapy, or athletic training setting.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• Valid driver’s license with personal automobile insurance.
• Ability to satisfy third‑party credentialing requirements for hospital access.
