Mass Torts Staff Attorney – ERISA Litigation

About the role

Womble Bond Dickinson (US) LLP is seeking a Staff Attorney to join its Mass Torts Practice Group in either Atlanta, GA or Phoenix, AZ. The attorney will work on ERISA litigation and related mass tort matters, handling all phases of litigation from discovery through trial.

Key responsibilities

• Manage assigned cases with autonomy while collaborating with senior litigators.
• Conduct discovery, take and defend depositions, and draft and argue motions.
• Prepare for and participate in trial proceedings.
• Research and apply relevant statutes, case law, and procedural rules.
• Work closely with paralegals, legal assistants, and support staff.

Required profile

• Licensed to practice law in Georgia or Arizona (or eligible for admission without examination).
• Minimum two years of experience in insurance defense, bad‑faith, or ERISA litigation.
• Strong written and oral advocacy with excellent interpersonal abilities.
• Self‑starter who can take increasing responsibility and work collaboratively.
