Market Program Manager

About the role

The Market Program Manager leads the client‑choice food market serving low‑income individuals and families in Eastern Oklahoma. This full‑time, salaried position reports to the Senior Director and works closely with senior management and CCEOK outreach locations to ensure efficient operations and compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Motivate, lead, and mentor staff and volunteers to achieve program goals.
• Oversee day‑to‑day operations, ensuring client dignity and a welcoming atmosphere.
• Maximize use of donated food while minimizing purchased inventory and waste.
• Ensure compliance with USDA food‑distribution regulations and funding requirements.
• Maintain balanced, nutritious food options and manage inventory flows within two weeks.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual compliance reports and support audit processes.
• Develop cost‑effective food sourcing strategies in partnership with the Senior Director.
• Promote community partnerships, provide education, and represent the program at meetings.
• Support fundraising, volunteer events, and other outreach activities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Food safety and handling certification or ability to obtain one.
• 3–5 years of management or supervisory experience (preferred).
• 1–2 years of customer service or retail food experience (preferred).
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment.
• Bilingual in Spanish (preferred).
• Commitment to Catholic ethical and moral standards.

Required skills

• Food safety certification.
• Spanish (bilingual).
