Make-Ready Specialist – Wiregrass (Stone Oak)

About the role

The Make-Ready Specialist ensures vacant apartments are prepared to Greystar’s quality standards for re‑leasing. Working on the Wiregrass at Stone Oak community, you will perform technical and mechanical tasks to turn units into market‑ready homes.

Key responsibilities

• Complete all repairs and improvements on vacant units following the community’s make‑ready checklist.
• Caulk and seal windows, sinks, toilets, bathtubs, and showers as needed.
• Inspect sheetrock for damage and repair or replace it.
• Perform touch‑up painting for vacant and occupied units under supervision.
• Assist with grounds, common areas, and amenities by picking up trash, pressure‑washing breezeways and pool areas, and painting curbs and signage.
• Support cost‑cutting initiatives by fixing rather than replacing parts and using materials efficiently.
• Document completion of the make‑ready checklist and related maintenance records promptly.
• Follow Greystar’s safety policies, attend safety meetings, and complete required OSHA training.
• Provide courteous service to residents, answer questions, and address maintenance complaints promptly.

Required profile

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, climb ladders, reach, carry objects, and work in confined spaces for extended periods.
• Attention to detail and commitment to meeting quality standards.
• Willingness to follow safety procedures and attend training sessions.
