Maintenance Technician – Marlowe South Tampa

About the role

The Maintenance Technician ensures the physical aspects of the garden‑style community in Marlowe South Tampa meet Greystar’s standards for cleanliness, safety and functionality. The role involves responding to resident service requests, performing preventative maintenance, and preparing vacant units for new occupants.

Key responsibilities

• Complete work orders and preventative maintenance, diagnosing and repairing defects in accordance with policies, safety standards and code requirements.
• Perform the “make‑ready” process for vacant apartments, including pre‑move‑out inspections, punch‑list creation, vendor coordination and final inspections.
• Maintain grounds, common areas and amenities through trash removal, pressure‑washing, general cleaning and painting of curbs and signage.
• Document service requests accurately, track inventory of supplies and tools, and reorder materials as needed.
• Support safety compliance by attending safety meetings, completing OSHA training and promptly reporting incidents.

Required profile

• Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, climb ladders and lift up to 25 lb unaided (50 lb with assistance).
• Willingness to work in all weather conditions and be on‑call evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Valid driver’s license required for operating a golf cart on the property.
• EPA Type 1, Type 2 or Universal refrigerant recycling certification required.

Required skills
