Maintenance Technician – Canyon Creek Apartments

About the role

We are looking for a Maintenance Technician to join the team at Canyon Creek Apartments in Wilsonville, Oregon. The role involves performing technical and mechanical work to keep the property’s buildings, grounds, amenities and common areas safe, functional and presentable.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to resident service requests and complete work orders, diagnosing issues and performing repairs in line with company policies, safety standards and code requirements.
• Carry out preventative maintenance tasks throughout the property to reduce equipment downtime.
• Execute the “make‑ready” process for vacant units, including pre‑move‑out inspections, creating punch lists, and coordinating vendors to ensure apartments are ready for new occupants.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed and report any recurring problems to management.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent; relevant trade certifications preferred.
• Experience in residential or commercial building maintenance.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints and safety codes.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.

Required skills

• Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC and general building systems.
• Proficiency with hand and power tools.
• Ability to use maintenance management software for work orders.
