Maintenance Technician – Belmont (Temporary)

About the role

Greystar is seeking a Maintenance Technician for its Belmont property in Orlando. This temporary position (up to 90 days) supports the day‑to‑day operation of a multi‑site, stabilized residential community of 500+ units, ensuring buildings, grounds, and common areas meet the company’s standards for safety, appearance, and functionality.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to resident service requests and complete preventative maintenance work orders, diagnosing issues and performing repairs in line with safety standards and code requirements.
• Execute the “make‑ready” process for vacant units, including pre‑move‑out inspections, punch‑list creation, vendor coordination, and final inspections.
• Manage inventory of tools, supplies, and equipment, tracking usage and notifying supervisors of re‑order needs.
• Document all service requests accurately and promptly for proper tracking.
• Maintain grounds and common areas by removing debris, pressure‑washing breezeways and pool areas, performing general cleaning, and painting curbs or signage as required.
• Support cost‑control initiatives by repairing parts whenever possible and minimizing material waste.

Required profile

• Ability to diagnose mechanical or building defects and perform repairs safely.
• Experience handling work orders and following established maintenance procedures.
• Strong attention to detail for inspections, documentation, and inventory management.
• Willingness to work on a rotating on‑call schedule, Monday‑Friday.
