Maintenance Technician – Belmont (Orlando, FL)

About the role

We are looking for a Maintenance Technician to join our Belmont property in Orlando, Florida. The role supports the day‑to‑day operation of a large multifamily community, ensuring that buildings, grounds, amenities and common areas meet Greystar’s standards for safety, appearance and functionality.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to resident service requests and complete work orders in a timely manner.
• Perform preventative maintenance on building systems and equipment, diagnosing issues and executing repairs in line with company policies, safety standards and code requirements.
• Carry out “make‑ready” procedures to prepare vacant units for new occupants, including cleaning, minor repairs and inspections.
• Participate in a rotating on‑call schedule to address after‑hours emergencies.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent; relevant trade certifications are a plus.
• Experience working in residential or commercial property maintenance.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, manuals and safety codes.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.

Required skills

• Basic knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical and carpentry systems.
• Proficiency with hand and power tools.
• Familiarity with work order management systems.
