Maintenance Supervisor (San Francisco)

About the role

The Maintenance Supervisor ensures that all building systems, grounds, amenities, and common areas meet Greystar's standards for cleanliness, safety, and functionality. This onsite role combines hands‑on technical work with oversight of routine upkeep and resident service requests.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to and complete work orders generated from resident requests, diagnosing issues and performing repairs in line with safety standards and code requirements.
• Oversee the "make‑ready" process to prepare units for new residents, coordinating cleaning, repairs, and inspections.
• Perform routine preventative maintenance on mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed, parts used, and time spent on each task.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, safety procedures, and local regulations.

Required profile

• 1‑2 years of related maintenance or facilities experience.
• Availability to work Tuesday through Saturday with on‑call duties as needed.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and communicate effectively with residents and team members.
