Construction Superintendent – Microgrid Projects

About the role

JB Pacific is seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent to lead microgrid‑related projects in the San Francisco Bay Area. Reporting to the Director of Field Operations, you will own the day‑to‑day construction activities, schedule, safety and quality for complex commercial facilities.

Key responsibilities

• Manage project schedule, trade production planning and daily reporting.
• Conduct constructability reviews and pre‑task planning.
• Coordinate procurement, trade partners, vendors and field personnel.
• Oversee site safety plan development, Cal‑OSHA compliance and risk management.
• Perform site inspections, material verification, logistics and as‑built documentation.
• Maintain digital quality‑control documentation and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
• Travel as required to project sites.

Required profile

• 10‑15 years experience as a Construction Superintendent in commercial construction.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials and safety practices.
• Ability to read blueprints and technical documents.
• Proficiency with Procore, Bluebeam and Microsoft Office.
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel.
• Physical ability to lift, bend and stand for extended periods.
• Preferred background in electrical trade, microgrids and traveling superintendent roles.
• OSHA 30 certification preferred.
